Awesome! I've been through that country, Rapid River - I didn't know it had such good trails. Lick Creek and the road that goes through there is amazing, such good country. Looking strong!
ReplyDeleteIt is strange that during winter I have to drive North an hour to get to a warmer area with low enough elevation to run on dirt. The canyons in Idaho dominate the topography and the wild rivers run in seemingly irrational directions. I guess the Idaho Batholith steers the waters in improbable ways. Lucky to have a winter retreat deep in the canyons carved by the Salmon and Snake Rivers. If you visit in winter or spring, I would be happy to give you a tour of the Riggins area canyons.
